Johnson Group Home (JGH) was founded in 2019.
We are a Licensed Residential Group Home in Evington, VA, about 10 mins, South of Lynchburg.
Our main purpose is to provide the highest quality of care to people with developmental and physical disabilities within a community-based residential setting.

We are a Licensed Residential Group Home in Evington, VA, about 10 mins, South of Lynchburg.
Our main purpose is to provide the highest quality of care to people with developmental and physical disabilities within a community-based residential setting.
The owner of JGH is Sandi Johnson. After providing care for an immediate family member from 2000 to 2009, Sandi made the decision to continue providing services to those in need of specialized care, by working with Wall Residences from 2009 to 2019. In July 2019. Then she obtained all of the required credentials to open.

JGH is fully accessible home and has lifts to try to prevent falls and injures. We also have two wheelchair-accessible vans for community outings.
JGH provides 24-hour, awake staff daily. We have a Registered Nurse, CNAs and Direct Support Providers (DSPs) on staff.
All staff members have passed extensive FBI and Department of Social Se

Complaint Process
Johnson Group Home (JGH) will collect, maintain, and report and make available to DBHDS (“The Department”) the following information:
· Each allegation of abuse or neglect to the Department.
· Instances of seclusion or restraint shall be reported to the Department.
JGH will submit, or make available, reports, and information that the Department requires to establish compliance with these regulations and applicable statutes. Records that are confidential under federal or state law shall be maintained as confidential by the department and shall not be further disclosed except as required or permitted by law. However, there shall be no right of access to communications that are privileged pursuant to § 8.01-581.17 of the Code of Virginia. Additional information requested by the Department if compliance with a regulation cannot be determined shall be submitted within 10 business days of the issuance of the licensing report requesting additional information. Extensions may be granted by the Department when requested prior to the due date, but extensions shall not exceed an additional 10 business days. JGH may not submit any misleading or false information to the Department.
