All of our staff are certified in the following:
• G-tube
• Urinary Catheter
• CPR/First Aid and AED
• Medication Aide
• Therapeutic Options
All staff is trained to:
• Take vitals
• Administration Insulin
• Blood Glucose Monitoring
• Perform Respiratory Therapy exercises (experience with breathing and VEST treatments)

All staff have extensive training in
the area of:
• Medication Administration and nutrition via G-tube
• Diabetes Management
• Modified Diet (thicken liquids and chopped/ pureed diets)
• Oral suctioning
• Infection Control Practices
• CPAP machine care/maintenance
• And MUCH more!
We have nurses on staff to train staff on nurse delegation tasks and to answer any questions staff might have.
Transportation

Transportation
Staff are able to provide transportation to any location within the greater community in both of our wheelchair accessible vans.
Typical outings include: shopping at grocery stores, going to the movies, eating out, attending church, going bowling, participating in different arts and crafts classes, Day Camps, etc.

Typical outings include: shopping at grocery stores, going to the movies, eating out, attending church, going bowling, participating in different arts and crafts classes, Day Camps, etc.
JGH is very active in the community. However, if someone doesn't want to attend an outing, we have plenty of staff that can support the person at home if they choose to stay home.
As a group, we normally go on vacation once or twice a year. We provide support staff around the clock during vacations as well.
